Second Shoots

Our second location we met was a field, for our police search scene. We had the props of a torch and two high vis jackets, we also had extra actors and great battery on our camera. Me, Lewis, Dan and actor George set up our two shoes in a rough patch of grass, with the camera looking directly at them, opening up the background. I suggested the technique of tilting the camera to give the affect of realism and perhaps a point of view shot (kid lying on the floor) Also you could take it further by suggested the camera had been dropped, in a fight or tumble perhaps, and represents broken stillness. Using Lewis's dog and George as our police man, he scowers the background looking for evidence towards the abducted child. We took a variety of shots and managed to work quite well. With Dan directing, and Lewis finding locations and placing props we got filming quite quick. Learning that recently the lighting outside dramatically changes quickly, working this to our advantage we got a plethora of shots through the diffrent lightings to make sure we had a variety of diffrent lighting to picking the best looking shots.
